6.2/10

My stay at Union Hotel Prague was kind of a mixed bag. On one hand, the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Tetiana and Arystan, who really made me feel at home. On the other hand, the room left a lot to be desired with some issues like old furniture and a strange smell in the lobby. While the location was nice and close to tram lines for easy travel, I just can't ignore the outdated facilities and noise from the outside. It was a decent stay, but definitely not what I expected for a four-star hotel.

While I had fresh linens, the room felt old-fashioned and there were issues like a strange smell and uncomfortable furniture. The shower didn't even have a curtain, which added to the frustration.
Service
8.0
The staff were absolute gems. They were friendly, spoke English well, and helped out whenever I needed something. Their kindness really was a highlight.
Location

The hotel is in a good spot, right by a tram stop, but to get to the metro it's a hike up a hill which isn't ideal if you've got heavy luggage. It's also not too far from the city center.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast offered good variety with options like boiled eggs, croissants, and juices, but the downer was that the bar and restaurant were closed during the weekend.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities felt outdated and some didn't even have basic amenities like a safe in the room. The noise from the trams kept me up, and the Wi-Fi was weak, which added to my annoyance.

Overall, my stay at Union Hotel Prague was quite pleasant, thanks to the comfortable and spacious room, though the decor was a bit tired. The friendly staff made my experience better, but the lack of in-room tea and coffee facilities was disappointing. The hotel's location, with easy access to trams, was a major plus for getting around the city quickly.
